Dear Community Member,

The students in the English Language Learning Class at John D. Bracco school are honoured to invite you to our final showcase and celebration of the community work we’ve completed through the Community Initiatives Program (CIP) grant and Abundant Community Edmonton (ACE).

  • Date: June 21st, 2018
  • Time: 11:30 - 1:00 Presentation, lunch and community gathering to follow
  • Location: John D. Bracco School Gymnasium, 3150 139 Ave NW

This event will be paired with our school celebration of National Indigenous People’s Day to celebrate the diversity and culture of our community. During this event you will have the opportunity to see our indigenous student performances, hear our ELL students share stories of coming of Canada, their experience in engaging their community through the ACE model, and view a short documentary following the process.

Join us afterwards for a BBQ in the school yard, indigenous games and crafts, and an interactive showcase of our students cultures and stories.

Please feel free to pass along this invitation to other community members that you may feel would be interested in this celebration.

If you are a community organization we invite you to set up a table with resources to share with our community, include this information in your RSVP to me so I can ensure we have a table set aside for your organization.

If you want to attend or have a table, write to julie.lawrence@epsb.ca
