Develop your workplace skills (English, work safety, etc)
The Workforce Participation Program offers training to people with ESL skills between CLB 3 and CLB 5. These four evening classes will help you do better at work by improving your English language skills, your knowledge of others' cultures and your understanding of important workplace issues.
When: Tuesdays in August 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: C5 Hub, 14021 Victoria Trail NW
We offer free childcare during the classes. If you attend all four classes and complete an assessment afterward, we will return your $25.
To register, we must test you before the first class. To be tested and to pay, go to C5 Hub, 14021 Victoria Trail NW from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on either Saturday, July 28 or Saturday, August 4. Testing takes from 1 to 2 hours. It depends on your English.
If you cannot come on those two dates to be tested, contact Andrea Striesel at 780-235-3627 or email@example.com.
Communities United offers this training with our partners Action for Healthy Communities and C5 (Collaborating for Change). This training is based on material developed by the Alberta Workforce Essential Skills Society.
